  1. 12011 NBA Finals

    9

Dirk Nowitzki led the Dallas Mavericks to its first NBA title in 2011, where they defeated the Miami Heat in 6 games, in what it was LeBron James' first season with the Florida team. Commanded by Nowitzki, the Mavs defeated the Blazers, the Lakers, OKC and the Miami Heat on their way to the title, in which is undoubtedly one of the hardest playoffs runs ever.

  1. 22016 NBA Finals

    6

"Iguodala to Curry, back to Iguodala, up for the layup... blocked by James!" LebBon James' legendary block in game 7 of the 2016 NBA Finals is one of the greatest basketball moments, as it was the pinnacle of his outstanding performance in the Finals, where he averaged 29.7 points, 11.3 rebounds, 8.9 assists, 2.6 steals and 2.3 blocks per game. The whole series was an impressive basketball showcase, as the two most dominant teams of the last years clashed in a seven-games series.

  2. 31995 Eastern Conference Semifinals

    5

The series between the Indiana Pacers and the New York Knicks started with the popular sequence in which Reggie Miller scored 8 points in 9 seconds, but the whole series was an amazing display of great basketball between the two teams,

  1. 42013 NBA Finals

    5

Miami Heat's third NBA title arrived in dramatic fashion: Ray Allen's miraculous shot allowed Miami to stay alive in game 6, and helped them to make it to game 7, where they ultimately defeated the San Antonio Spurs.

  2. 52006 Western Conference Semifinals

    3

On their way to the 2006 NBA Finals -where they lost against the Miami Heat-, the Dallas Mavericks faced the San Antonio Spurs in the Western Conference finals. The series was decided in the final game 7, where even though Duncan outscored Nowitzki, the German and the Mavericks defeated the spurs in overtime, 119-111, and ended one of the closest series ever, as five of the seven games were decided by only five points or less.

  3. 6The Greatest Tragedy in Sports

    2

The 2002 Western Conference Finals between the Sacramento Kings and the Los Angeles Lakers is one of the most forgotten and forbidden episodes in NBA's history, as it is often regarded as one of the most clear examples of rigging in the NBA.

  4. 72009 Eastern Conference Quarterfinals

    1

The Chicago Bulls and the Boston Celtics went on a 7-games series in the 2009 Eastern Conference quarterfinals, and four of those seven games were decided in the extra time. The best game of the whole series was the sixth one, where Chicago defeated the Celtics in triple OT despite Ray Allen's 51 points.

"This moment in NBA history marks an end of an era, the Bostons Celtics big three. They were the previous champs the year before that series and there was an up and coming new all star potential player, and his name was Derrick Rose, although his career went downward spiral because of injuries, you can't deny the fact that his team was a championship caliber one."

"Me and my husband were looking through some of the past NBA playoff series to watch and really wanted to find one of the best of all time. One of the first series that we watched was the 2006 Western Conference Semifinals. This series was pretty intense but I would not classify it as the best of all time."

"Watching old sports has been a hobby of mine for a couple of years now. I like to show my friends some of the older series as they have not seen many of them. One of the best that I can remember ever seeing is probably the 1995 Eastern Conference Semifinals. This is not the top but it's close."

"Known for the pain it still brings to fans the greatest tragedy in sports is one of the clearest times referees banned together to change a playoff game. Later some referees went to jail but not any that participated in this game but this game began the end of the collusion."

"Me and a friend were having a conversation about what they thought was the best NBA playoff series of all time. I am of the opinion the Michael Jordan had some of the best series but my friend was adamant that the 2016 NBA Finals was one of the best. I do not agree at all."

"I am sorry but this is not the best playoff series of all time. I am a big time Miami Heat hater only because they try to always create a team with all stars instead of producing one. The Spurs on the other hand is quite the opposite. Spurs should have won this series."

"The 2011 NBA Finals led to the Dallas Mavericks' first NBA title. It was a very exciting time for Dallas fans. They had to beat out the Blazers, the Lakers, and the Heat to win their title. It was no doubt one of the toughest playoff runs and will go down in history."
