"There is a reason Nelson DeMille is a NYT best-selling author and this book is proof! A NY City police officer is now searching out terrorists--well the worst terrorist in the world. I read this book in just a few days as I couldn't put it down and when I did, I just wanted to pick it back up. What a thriller!!!"

"If you like Nelson DeMille's writing...you know exactly what you are getting here. This is a good basic plot description. It does leave out the fact that many people will find it very boring. Good synopsis."

"I found myself falling asleep frequently during this read. Something about it just didn't catch my attention. Perfect if you're having trouble falling asleep, not so good if you're looking for a true suspense book."

"The General's Daughter Mass Market Paperback written in November 1, 1993 by Nelson DeMille appears to be one of several book he has written. This recommendation has strong reviews with an overall 4.5-star rating. The selection is well priced with prime shipping and lists other options if not suitable."

"Word of Honor is the first book I read by author Nelson DeMille, I didn't know what to expect from it, I'm more of a fantasy fan. I really enjoyed the book, the plot is pretty solid and good, the pace at first was slow, but it picks up around the middle. The main character is likeable but I had some issues with him. This book is a good example of a mystery/thriller book. "

"This is a classic DeMille thriller set shortly after the Cold War. It contains meaningful and important themes about the American heartland during that time period. The love story is a bit heavyhanded, as is his rivalry with the police chief. "

"I waited a long time to read the sequel to The Gold Coast, which was an excellent book. The Gate House was a bit meh for me. I was glad to read it and some parts surprised me, but I would have been completely confused if I hadn't read The Gold Coast first."

"The overall story is all right I guess but I never had this pull to hurry back to it. Not a page turner but fine for a waiting room."
