It's a brand new month, which means that you can once again cling to your favorite streaming platforms for new movie offerings. And as May sees the world slowly heal from the COVID-19 pandemic, Amazon Prime Video is here to back you up! The premier streaming platform leads 'recovery 101' with a new batch of quality cinema content all for you to enjoy. Of course, no month is complete without the usual Amazon Original movie releases which will feed your movie-loving minds. For May, Prime Video brings a good mix of science fiction, socio-political, and horror flavor to your binge-watching. Want to find more about these titles? Another Amazon Original release, 2019's science fiction flick 'The Vast of Night' is the feature film debut of Andrew Patterson. In here, he does an excellent job of propelling Sierra McCormick and Jake Horowitz to cinematic recognition. Follow the story of how two country bumpkins discover a strange audio frequency that could change their town for good.
Finally, Prime members are set to enjoy 'Rocketman' on the streaming service. The largely undercelebrated 2019 musical biopic follows the spectacular journey of Elton John as he rose to stardom. The film is just one of the few previously-released movies that Prime Video adds to their catalog this time of the year.
