"It is fun, however it is older now and there are other games that could possibly fill this category better. However it does bring nostalgia with it as a game that many might have played and remember fond memories of."

"Whenever I need to be reminded that I'm not getting better at playing games as I get older I know that I still can't get through Ninja Gaiden. That's not to say it's not a great game with some ahead of its time story telling but it's just ridiculously hard. Still I do not regret re-buying it again for my collection."

"While I can't say the original arcade Shinobi was as good as the games that followed it it still has held up well for its age. Sure it's a bit simple, walk left to right, jumping and throwing knives now but considering that it's free to play on the internet achieve (no need to spend quarters) it's hard for me not to pick it up and play."

"I honestly am shocked at how well Mark of the Ninja handles being stealthy. Far too many games turn it into a boring and tedious way to make every step feel excruciating and random but as hard as Mark of the Ninja is it never feels like any mistakes are any but my own, plus the amazing art design really fits the mood perfectly."

"This was one of the greatest ninja video games I have ever played in my life. This game in particular really brings me back to my childhood. There is something very nostalgic about seeing a two-dimensional video game with 8-bit graphics. It is sometimes nicer and more relaxing to enjoy the simpler things in life."

"Very gory. I know it's metal gear and it's to be expected, but I thought the whole thing was pretty unidimensional. The story telling is not bad, though, and kept my attention but the dialogues easily veer into the extra cheesy. I know it's anime guys, but a bit of originality when it comes to character development has never killed anyone you know? Other than that, fast paced, fun and mindless. And pretty good looking as well. "

"This is not a great solution. The Revenge of Shinobi, was re-released for the Wii Virtual Console in 2009 and on both the PlayStation 3 via PlayStation Network and Xbox 360 via Xbox Live. It recently became a Sega "forever" game. While popular the game is extremely challenging and due to the fact it has very difficult controls. "I am a HUGE fan of the original Shadow Warrior game, and this game just gets it all wrong. None of the humor from the original is present, and unfortunately, like most remakes, this one really misses the mark. No need to re-invent the wheel, make it fun and funny, not frustrating and un-funny."
