"This includes the same turn-based tactical battles and apocalyptic theme as the original Banner Saga, but the changes make this more enjoyable than ever, it takes place shortly after the first one. And choices you make matter more than previously, raising thoughtful gameplay more than the first. But its overall feel is going to feel a bit incomplete as a middle episode of a trilogy."

"The Banner Saga is about Vikings and based in Norse mythology. This genre is not done very often so I really gravitate towards it when done right. Banner Saga has definitely done it right. I love the graphics and how the choices that I make affect the story line."

"This is a great game about knights and wizards and dragons. You play through a medieval world of dungeons and caverns in search of treasure. Although it is a great medieval game it really has nothing to do with Norse mythology. "
