"This is not a bad book. The characters are well developed, but they can be a bit grating depending on your tastes. Otherwise the plot is well formed and it seems to conclude at a great spot."

"I found this book to be an entertaining period-piece with a strong romantic element set among heartwarming warrior-type characters. I really found the characters to be engaging and interesting in the way the author made them seem like a very unlikely couple. The story was quite satisfying and the sexual content was memorable. "

"I don't like titles that tell me what to do. I'll seduce a Scot if I want! This book is strange. A deaf person being able to hear a voice that's deep is really hard to believe considering I sometimes can't hear deep voices well. High pitched? Sure, that's increased vibrations so makes sense. I'm just a stickler for these things and my enjoyment was ruined. Maybe others could look past it but not me."
