"The Museum of Innocence is a fairly enjoyable read but probably isn't among author Orhan Pamuk's best novels. The storyline seems somewhat cliched and it takes a little while to get into the book which drags on for far too long. The ending is also fairly predictable. I'd advise you to give this one a miss."

"This book allows you to conjure up thoughts of Istanbul, and what it is like to be in that surroundings, the book i.s very poetic at times, and has material some may find offensive, this was a decent read."

"The intricate plot and amazing writing skills of Orhan Pamuk will draw you into this classic tale steeped in traditions of being a Turk, but the author is able to step away from that and give you an unadulterated view of the world he created. The historical details are fascinating and funny. Great novel, I'll check out some of his other works. "
