Katy Swartz, a seventeen yeard old girl that moved to West Virginia for her last high school year, would have never believed that the hot guy, yet worth of a beat down, living next door was an alien. Daemon and his sister are being attacked by enemies from another galaxy, and he will have to use his powers, like the ability to freeze time, to save them and Katy.

"This novel does a semi-significant job of featuring what most would call a jerk boy. He in fact turns out to be an alien which is a little strange. He does try and use his powers to save the girl, though, which is noble and not so "jerk-boy-ish". Overall, a riveting read. "

"This book features a few major twists and turns that certainly aren't expected. Kudos for that in writing. Unfortunately, this book really needed an editor or a better editor. There is a ton of redundant writing here. This book probably could have been cut short by at least 40 pages if it were edited better."

"I really enjoyed this book! I wasn't sure how I would like it with it being about her stepbrother but this book is really good and addresses that concern right away. They didn't even meet until they were grown up. This book kept me entertained the whole way through. If you like books that feature boys being jerks you will like this book because Elec is one in spades but you eventually come to love him. "

"This is not my favorite book but it might have some appeal to those that enjoy steamy love scenes; as those are the best part of this book. The heroine was not written as a weakling, which is a plus for a paranormal romance, but there were other stereotypical characters that could have been more well developed and improved upon."

She was an Assassin and now the Prince Dorian needs her skills to wing the Championship for his father the King. She has some compassion along with her killing skills and intelligence. She's a good hero for women and this is a series that has a lot of action and plenty of surprises to keep you interested. "
