"This is another strong read by Richelle. Set with Sidney sage as an alchemist who hates vampires, it shows her growth as she grows to accept them. I love the fact that the author brought back some of the more memorable characters in previous novels. Truly a great read for all ages. "

"This is an amazing novel to say the least. However I can't really see a teenager staying focused on it very long. Today's world moves so much faster than the time period in the story. It is hard to relate to the people involved. A fantastic book for someone in their 30's though."

The only thing I would caution is with younger readers, it is a bit dense at times. If they are not a strong reader, they may blanch at the length and sometimes slower pacing. "

"I along with many of my friends have parents that are seperated or blended. I feel as if the older generations don't quite understand the effects have on children and can be dismissive of our issues. This novel was amazing. Along with the scary accuracy she portrays a teen of our generation, it was enjoyable and not being a reader it was crazy how much time I spent binge reading this book. I finished in a few days and was actually a bit sad. It did help me reflect and realize some issues I have with my own situation and has definitely helped me."
