"Since I was a kid, I've always been a great fan of Disney movies. What I did not understand then, was that the Disney movies are based on works of wonderful literary quality. With Arabian Nights, I was able to read the original stories and folktales that comprised some of my favorite movies when I was a kid, and the experience of reading these stories was spectacular."

"Mark Twain is a good author, and this book is indeed a classic. However, I think the racist overtones from the 1800s have no real place in modern society. I personally don't dislike the story of Huck Finn... and the Disney movie is certainly entertaining. It's getting a little harder to justify calling this a "good" book now, though, and my rating reflects that."

"The classic and beloved children's book Alice's Adventures in Wonderland, written by Lewis Carroll is a must read for all. I recommend reading it before watching all of the animated versions of this classic, such fun with so many off the wall tangents."

"I love a great Disney movie. I also love the books that spawn those movies. Treasure Island was a great tale that later went to the big screen. It really hooked you into the setting and made you want to find the treasure yourself."
