"Incredibly well written novel with steamy scenes that could be compared to fifty shades of grey. The characters are also described in a way that allows you to vividly imagine them as you would see them in real life."

"I love a great novel. Innocents details a teacher/student affair. The student actually seduces the teacher and they move away together. This is a great morally questionable novel that tugs at your heart strings."

"This book was recommended to me, so once I got started I read to the end so I could give my friend a full opinion. Even though the main protagonist is pretty mature for their age I still found it a bit creepy throughout. The story wasn't too bad, but the age difference and academic relationship made it hard to look past the facts."

"This novel offers a compelling story that makes you feel a wide array of emotions. The hardships that the main character goes through really makes you feel sad but the relationship between her and the teacher can make you angry at the same time. All in all, it was a pretty decent read."

"This novel is very interesting teen fiction, covering a world where vampires go to school and struggle with the fight between vampirism and humanity. There's scandals -- the main character has three boyfriends, which factors into the many social problems that teens face. However this is definitely not a student and teacher affair book. I find it more of a darker and teenier Twilight mystery where vampires are more popular but social life is just as hard."
