"I like books with bad ass male characters, so I asked my local librarian if there was something like that I could check out. She suggested 'City of Ashes', the 2nd book in Cassandra Clare's Mortal Instrument series. I read it, and though the book wasn't bad, the most intimidating character in it, was the main, female one. It was sort of the opposite of what I asked for."

" Add: Jane Eyre ranks as one of the greatest and most perennially popular works of English fiction. Although the poor but plucky heroine is outwardly of plain appearance, she possesses an indomitable spirit, a sharp wit and great courage. A brilliant classic. Over 7,600 reviews at Amazon 4 1/2 stars."
