"This book touches on three favorite genres of mine: exotic destinations, romance, and the Victorian period. What a treasure this book is! The main character is a wealthy Creole heiress to a fortune named Antoinette, who ends up meeting a man who traveled from England to Jamaica for business. This is a classic story of opposites attracting, which is always a lovely trope for a romance novel."

"I enjoyed this book even though I could not relate to he particular situation of a cheating husband, but I could relate to a change of scenery to reevaluate things that need to shaken up in ones life. The author decribes the bed and breakfast so wonderfully that I want to go there and enjoy it. The only down fall about this is the filler and formulaic romance dram that these books tend to have. If your into that sort of thing with a beautiful back drop give this book a read. "
