    #1After the Golden Age

    After the Golden Age
Being the daughter of the world's greatest superheroes wasn't easy for Celia West: she had no superpowers, her popularity was rather mediocre and the only thing she was wanted for was to be used as a bait to catch her parents. But when Destructor, the meanest villain of them all, is caught, she will discover something she wished she never knew...

"This was absolutely hilarious. I could relate to Celia so much because my dad is sort of a hot shot at work and treated as almost a "super" hero and I'm constantly kidnapped to go to pointless dinners and company award ceremonies. Okay, okay, so it's not exactly the same thing, but I connected with this book. Great suggestion! Thanks a million over!"

"I was working 8am to 7pm shifts for the past few years and I wanted to make sure I spend time in the evening with my 9 year old twin sons. I was looking for something exciting and magical to share with them while I read to them at night. I found this amazing book called "It's Superman!" by Tom De Haven. Tom created a fantastic story sci-fi story that follows Clark Kent's journey in his battle against evil that allows children to use their imagination and view illustrations about super hero. My sons absolutely love the story and keep begging me to acquire more books about Superman. Thank you for this wonderful book!!"

"This was an excellent novel with great characters in it. I love how nobody was truly the bad or good guy. The characters was portrayed in a way where you can see the positive and negative in all of them, which made for a multi-dimensional read. I can't wait to get started on the other books of the trilogy."

"I like it when authors revisit childhood characters in a new and more adult way. That said, I did not love this. The story arc was interesting. But the author kept jumping around in time, and not always in what seemed to me to be the most coherent way. Batman's psychological problems were not made particularly compelling to me. I also felt like a lot of opportunities for tension, action and drama were bypassed in favor of psychobabble and exposition. I plodded through. But, I wouldn't give it more than 2.5 out of 5 stars."
