"With Aplogies to Achmed the dead terrorist, I will keeel you! But at least I won't necessarily end up dead in the process., though if I've not clever, I might. I found this game pretty interesting with strategy required, not just blowing away "sitting ducks." "

"Every time that I play Into the Dead, I feel like I am in an episode of The Walking Dead. This game is one of my favorites because sometimes it feels like we are already living in a zombie apocalypse. This simulation allows you to experience that doomed existence. It also reminds me of Resident Evil. Great game!"

"I think this solution fails to solve the problem, first because the link is to an Android application rather than iOS, and secondly because the result is only a single game, rather than a comprehensive list. I would have preferred a link to a list of options for the given query."

First-person shooter (FPS) is a genre of video game that revolves around a gun and other weapon-based combat in a first-person perspective. To ease the confusion between shooter games and first-person shooter, the latter is a sub-genre of shooter games and these two belong to the bigger umbrella of the action game.

Did you know that Mazer War (also known as The Maze Games, Maze Wars, or simply Maze) is considered to be one of the earliest first-shooter games dating back to 1973 that gave birth to the first blueprint used in thousands of games in the same category? In an article written by Daniel Engber, published on The New York Times Magazine, a hallmark in the first-shooter game industry was made when John Carmark, a video game designer, and a 3-D graphics creator, together with his colleagues from id Software, a video game company, developed a game called Catacomb 3-D. The concept of the game is not far from the known first-shooter games, but what makes it unique its leap from the standard bird’s eye view to one in which the player saw only what his character might see. This has allowed the users to really engage themselves in the game as some people were seen to be actually falling out of their chairs or jumping away from the keyboard. Because of this intense immersion, the marketing schemed worked perfectly. According to Daphne Bavelier, a neuroscientist, gamers of this genre are more likely to develop a greater sense of vision, mental rotation, and task-switching skills.

"Probably the most hilarious game I've come across in a while. I think the best part about the game is I can play offline and not have to run into ads every few minutes like most other shooter games for my device. In those rare events where I am unable to access the web I know I have a lot of entertainment in this game."

"If you travel a lot you know the importance of offline games - no reliable connection on the airplane! I'm a fan of first person shooters / sniper games so I tried Lonewolf. I't pretty good. Graphics are smooth, game play keeps you engaged. It's not anything revolutionary but it will burn some time on a flight for sure. "

"While this is a pretty decent online game, the offline version is lacking. I found the bots to be pretty poorly coded and it's just not very interesting to play against them. If you want something to play with friends, I can say this is a good option but if you're wanting something that doesn't eat up your data like I wanted, look elsewhere."

"It's getting more and more common for mobile platforms to have full-on games, rather than crappy mobile games. XCOM: Enemy Within is a major player in this trend. An adaptation of the PC game, this sacrifices very little and brings about every familiar XCOM feature fans are used to. If you liked XCOM, this is that - not some watered-down dumb version."
