"Every once in a while I hear a new slang word that makes no sense to me. BAE? What does it mean? Well, when I don't know I go to Urban Dictionary where they have to most crazy definitions for pretty much all the words and slang one can imagine. If you have some free time I even encourage you to spend a couple of minutes everyday there in order to be up to date on all the hot words kids are using these days. That site is LIT, yo!"

"This is a good online dictionary, never thought that this existed. If i had only known this like a year ago, i would have referred this online dictionary to my niece who kept on asking me on how to spell stuff. Unfortunately she already moved to australia 3 months ago, i'll just send her a message though. quite good."

"I was looking for a site that would combine the results of multiple online English dictionary sites. I love to develop my language abilities but sometimes different sites can conflict with each other and/or simply offer some novel information. It can just take too much time to research them all on my own. This site solved that problem perfectly as it provides all the links on one page! It happens almost instantaneously! Problem solved!"

"An all around dictionary that is helpful if you're learning English and even if you already know English. This dictionary site has several translation options such as English-Japanese, English-Korean and English-Spanish, and also has reverse translations (i.e. Spanish-English). The translation options are somewhat limited (only 3?) but very helpful if it fits your target language. Overall, a standard dictionary site that fits the basics of looking up any words/definition when needed."

"I grew up with the Webster dictionary, so Collins is unfamiliar to me. I liked that you could input a word and find the translation in multiple languages. The site was uncluttered and the words of the definition were of a larger font, which is appreciated by these aging eyes. Again, I am more familiar with Webster in book form for a dictionary and I tend to go to dictionary.com for online dictionary needs. I am unsure if I would even remember the name Collins dictionary if needed in the future. But, it was a good website."

"A good online dictionary is a must if you are writing anything besides facebooks posts. You don't want to look like an idiot with a lot of mispelled words. (Ha! See that looks stupid: it is spelled "misspelled".) And sometimes you just don't know what a word means. Merriam-Webster is a classic dictionary that now has a great online version. It does what a dictionary is supposed to do, and has extra features like a thesaurus and fun things like a word of the day. For me the definitions have just the right amount of info, not too much and not too little. And the layout is nice. Serves my purposes."

"Aside from being easy to use and useful when having to write a paper or just when I need clarification on what a word means, I love the word of the day. It's fun to see what the new word will be each day. I find the layout very easy to engage with."
