    "As a programmer, I'm biased toward open-source software. And it's kind of hard finding software through searches. Thanks to the F-Driod website I can find almost anything I need. Everything is sorted by categories and easy to find."

    "There are many ad blocking apps these days, but you can't go wrong with the original, AdBlock Plus! AdBlock Plus does exactly what it advertises. It blocks ads that are deemed "annoying" and keeps the ones that are legitimate. I have not had any problems with this and will continue using this for many years to come!"

    AnkiDroid is a powerful app for Android devices. With this app, you can learn through flashcards easily. It is an open source app and is available for several Operating Systems.

    "Sometimes this app is a little glitchy. I like it when it works, but whenever the cards don't flip immediately, I get frustrated. I hope it gets fixed! "

    "I remember using VLC years ago on my desktop and it is very nostalgic to see it again. I did not know that it was an opensource video player. It fits the description of the topic and it is still considered one of the best video players. But I am sure there are more opensource apps outside of the video player category."
