"If you're an avid Firefox and Mozilla fan you're well aware of Thunderbird. Thunderbird has plenty of features. There are loads of extension and best of all they're all free. I personally use Thunderbird to send off attachments and it does an admirable job. It handles large attachments in it's emails very well and I've never had any issues with it. It's pretty much my go to source for email as I configured my other emails to use it as the default. I love how the open source makes customizing it a breeze. I'm waiting for some new extensions and I know Mozilla will probably improve upon it in the upcoming releases too."

"This one is tough for me but in the end I would have to agree with this. It certainly was a close race race for me between Mindmanager and FreeMind but in the end the speed of FreeMind edges it past Mindmanager for me as the best solution in Windows open source software. Good choice!"
