    "This one was such a monumental moment both for cinema and the LGBTQ+ community. It also featured astounding actors of color. Moonlight was a fresh breath of air in the predominantly white landscape of the Oscars. The drama that went on during the ceremony was just a plus."

    "I was very young when this was shown so I didn't know that this movie was really a big deal. But upon watching it, it really got me though i'm not a fan of thrillers. Surprised to learn that this actually won Best Picture in the Oscars."

    "Was an all-time great thriller film! The survival story of the hostages really got me hooked as a Canadian. The history in the film is really interesting. Truly expected this to win the Oscars best picture award during its time"

    "This movie is all-time one of the most epic movies. I remember watching this when I was in high school and it was an epic story although quite long. Definitely deserves that Oscar best picture win"
