"A beautiful walk, free(seriously), breathtaking views of the city and the Hudson river, what's not to like? Well, the crowds for one. I find it best to go early and often as the seasonal changes are noticeable and unique. The High Line should not be missed on any visit"

The Tom Otterness Silver Towers Playground is located in 630 W 42nd St, New York, NY 10036, USA. It's a great option if you and your kids are into art, given the fact that the main attraction is a sculpture of a gentle iron giant that kids can climb and slide from.

"I recently took a trip with my family for a long weekend getaway to New York City. While we were there, the weather was amazing so we found Prospect Park and spent a Sunday afternoon there. Please go to this park! This place was huge, full of things to do, well maintained and beautiful. We were lucky to be there on a Sunday during the Smorgasburg food fest which was incredible! My children especially enjoyed the horseback riding to. If you are in New York don't miss out on this great park!"

"I was visiting my sister in New York City recently and she took my family to Forest Park. Forest Park is operated by the City of New York in Brooklyn. It is great for children, there are many things to do such as tennis, golf, playgrounds, hiking , biking and some really nice places to eat. It is hard to believe that this is a city park, it is clean and efficient and a great place to spend a day."
