"Passwords for this passwords for that ... passwords to protect your passwords - who can remember all of them? This is a perfect solution to the password frenzy I deal with on a daily basis! It is very comforting to know that I do not have to have that piece of paper in my desk drawer with all of my various passwords on it for when I forget -- because I do often! This is a wonderful product!!"

    pass
Password management should be simple and follow Unix philosophy. With pass, each password lives inside of a gpg encrypted file whose filename is the title of the website or resource that requires the password.

"If you are adept at operating a computer using the command-line, this is a great password manager. All files are encrypted and stored on your hard drive. I vastly prefer to keep my passwords on my own machine and not in the cloud like most online password managers. They can be hacked but with this little program, I am secure. It is highly customizable with several pre coded and pre tested plug ins. Great password manager for the knowledgeable techie! "

"Passacre is a great little program that's needed for people (like me) who frequently forget their passwords or use the same password for every site. If I'm unable to remember a specific password for a site, I input my go to password, site name and user name, and problem solved. No need to go through the whole :I don't remember my password" process. I would definitely recommend this. "
