"I love this series! This book has an interesting take on the history of Golarions humans. If you want to play a human, or gain an appreciation for them at least this is a good book to pick up. It’s a little heavy on history and wordy at times, but I can’t get enough of the lore."

"While looking for the best Pathfinder Player Companion books it was suggested that I might like Knights of the Inner Sea. It is not likely that I would purchase this book. Not only does it not have many reviews, under 10, there is only one purchase option. The book art for the cover also feels a little cheesy."

"Very good Pathfinder Player Companion book. It really makes the role-playing game so much better. I would definitely suggest Goblins of Golarion over the others in the series though. This is the best story."

"I enjoyed reading this set of books. Granted, this is no fantasy classic on the order of Tolkien, but it will pass the time nicely for Pathfinder players."

"Didn't like it at all! There's just not enough content in this companion. It wouldn't be that horrible if it was all playable content, but that is not the case. Why not have a list for each God of benefits and disadvantages for being in and out of favor. Instead there is a list of spells described in other books of pathfinder, that you would have to have to source this material."

"Varisia Birthplace of Legends is without a doubt one of the best Pathfinder player companion books. My Dungeons and Dragons regularly roleplay in Pathfinder and we usually find it a worthy alternative. This a very good companion book for Varisian campaigns."
