Baldur's Gate: Enhanced Edition manages to distinguish itself from the original through a few standout additions. For one, there’s the Black Pits, a gladiatorial mode that throws you into increasingly difficult battles of enemies for the apparent the amusement of Baeloth the Entertainer. I found this fun and a good way to earn enough XP and gold for gear in the Black Pits shop. I also found it useful for trying out new techniques to prepare for similar challenges in the campaign. The Enhance Edition of Baldur's Gate offers a more modernized take on dialogue and storytelling. The game is true to the original Baldur’s Gate distinction that has made the original the most followed in all of gaming. I like that there's a new arena, called the Black Pits. It's a cool series of fights against increasingly hardened waves of enemies. More

As far as PC tactical RPGs go, Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic is my favorite ever. I remember logging countless hours on this game when I was younger. You can not beat this game enough. There is always a reason to come back. More

The banner Saga 2 was fun to look at with its cartoonish graphics. I like that it allows me to role play while strategizing how to battles. The only thing I didn't like is that it is single player because I like to play with others. More
by Jane Franklin

The text link and the solution button send you to a gaming link that shows visuals in text and streaming forms, there is quite a bit of text so the user has a great deal of information to jump right into gaming. This was the 2nd most interesting of the 5 topics I have seen, the only thing missing here is audio. More

The game was a bit complicated. But overall it was a pretty satisfying modern-day RPG.
by Harold Carpenter

I know of a great game that is tactical, an RPG, and for PC. Armello is the name. I have played it myself plenty and man is it fun. It's basically a digital board game where you go around completing quests, fighting each others, collecting things like cards, and spells and much more. I would highly recommend it. Check it out. A lot of computer board games aren't very exciting. I liked this one. Good graphics.

I really dig tactical role playing games, especially on PCs. While I like that many newer games take advantage of massive advances in GPUs/video cards, The Banner Saga brings such an insanely unique spin on the tactical RPG genre in that the whole game is designed to have its art and graphics resemble one of those really cool, but serious-in-tone cartoons from the early 1980's. The game mechanics are great and the combat is really engaging. The story is phenomenal, and the connection to the characters becomes strong over time. This is a can't-miss kind of game. More
by Mercedes Sandoval
The Banner Saga does an adequate job of providing a nice RPG to play though there are a lot better options out there. This was not the best solution to the problem that could be found. More
by Yi Liang
The Banner Saga is a fun and fulfilling tactical game set in a viking-inspired world. I enjoyed it because the game is interactive and has an ever-changing story line depending on the choices that the player makes. More

RPGs are my favorite genre, so of course I had to play Pillars of Eternity! I made an Elven wizard to journey through the rich story Obsidian created for this great game. I had to make a lot of choices that influenced how the story played out, so I really felt immersed! More
by Rachel Soto
Pillars of Eternity does a nice job of providing a lot of elements that RPG gamers would be looking for. The story is one of the best around and worth a play for any gamer looking to explore a tactical RPG. More

This game has been out for a while (since 2010) and the graphics are indicative of that. I have definitely seen better graphics on other PC tactical RPGs. The game will run on many Windows operating systems, all the way back to Windows XP, so compatibility shouldn't be an issue. There is an expansion pack and several content packs available if you would like to enhance your game-playing experience. More
by Tang Hao
When looking for a tactical RPG to play Dragon Age: Origins should be near the top of the list. This was one of the best games of it's era and a must play for any serious gamer. More
by Nathan Robinson
This game is pretty good. There are definitely some things I would change about it, but overall I'd say I'm happy I got it.

I like this because there's a lot of flexibility in making your party. The play is smooth and entertaining.

Great game! For the price, it's incredibly realistic and immersive! Very similar to something like Game of Thrones, if you like that. I found Neverwinter Nights very challenging and rewarding. More

by John Davis
This was a little different than most D and D games. But it was worth a look-see. Definitely not a dungeon crawl.
by Crystal Lewis
Planescape is one of the best PC tactical RPGs available. It has a very original feel to it. It really stands out from other RPGs.

Torment: Tides of Numenera is a role playing game in the truest sense of the words. Each area introduces at least a dozen characters-each with their own stories and relationships. Torment encourages you to indulge your curiosity and talk to everyone you see. I found it easy to slip into the game’s world actually losing myself amidst the strange, unknown future. More
by Christopher Carter
I was looking for a good Tactical RPG for the PC, and I decided to try Torment Tides of Numenera. I'm not really satisfied, because it's not a tactical RPG. It is a fun game, but it doesn't fit the criteria I was looking for. More

What I like about this game is that it has a great story but it doesnt care about the main characters... while i feel that the characters i have are real. Another thing is that there are also interesting combat mechanics and unique animation style.
