"For software development you need a powerful machine and this is a very powerful machine. The processor and ram make it super-fast and amazingly capable."

"My Laptop came with battery issues, and mother board issues, I TRIED to send it to repair with the people of XOTIC PC. They were charging me 400 dollars to send it back to fix it and they actually never gave me any address. They stopped responding my emails and never took responsibility for anything. BAD EXPERIENCE!! I sent it through msi directly, they did answer me quickly, but after a month using the repaired computer, battery problems appeared again. So, very disappointed about this laptop."

"The touchscreen is cool, but the screen is really small. The core i7 is decent, but thats about all this laptop has going for it. For 2000 dollars there isnt much to this laptop. You can build your own for half the price and still come out on top."

"This Acer Chromebook is NOT the best PC for software development. I found this PC to basically be a thin client that I can use as a browser. If I was going to develop software, I would want a PC with a lot more computing power. I would use this chromebook if I needed an inexpensive machine to use for young kids but not for someone who is trying to develop software."

"Six hundred plus dollars is a bit much for this midlevel laptop, I mean it's nice and all but not worth six hundred plus dollars. The touch screen is a nice bonus and the processing is tight. I went online with this thing no problem. This is a nicce basic laptop that will take care of your basic computing needs, such as websurfing, movie watching, etc. Don't expect this to shred gaming, the generic gpu just won't cut the cheese for that, albeit it should because of the high price range."
