"I've been a fan of Penguin Drop Caps series for a while, and when Jane Eyre came out, I was so excited to buy it. It was a huge disappointment though, this book is probably my least favorite in the entire series."

"The classic lord of the flies gives insight into human behavior in children. The book shows just how easily it is for humans to devolve into savagery which judging by the times hasn't changed at all."

"This edition of Moby Dick is full, unabridged, and unexpurgated. There is an afterword by Nigel Cliff, a historian of maritime exploration. The text itself is laid out plainly (a plus) and the form factor of the book overall is very conducive to read in one hand (the book measures approximately 6"x4"x1.5"). They've chosen a serif font (probably Garamond or Times Roman) and the bright white pages make the smallish text highly readable (I'd say it's about 9-10 point font)"

"This really is a well written novel and if you like 19th century historical fiction set in rural America, then this is the book for you. I found it to be quite lovely in some ways, but overall, there's not enough drive and intensity in this kind of story, to really capture my imagination. "

"Considering the best Penguin Drop Caps Series books, my personal favorite is The Secret Life of Bees. Author Sue Monk Kidd weaves an impactful tale about racial dynamics during the height of the 1960s Civil Rights movement in the southern United States. It's an addicting read thanks to the mystery within the story that I kept wanting to figure out. "
