    #1Ubik

    Ubik

This is the Spanish version of the popular science fiction novel written by Phillip K. Dick. The book is set in the Moon, which has been already colonized by humanity, and where a product named 'Ubik' has miraculous powers. This product is nothing but a metaphor of God, as it is everywhere and has supernatural powers.

    #2The Penultimate Truth

    The Penultimate Truth
Published in 1964, this book is set in a post-war scenario, where humanity is forced to live in underground shelters where the opposing superpowers fight each other on the surface. This is all a lie, as the war had ended many years ago and humanity was being used to make the Yance-men even richer.

"Philip Dick would question your judgement if you read this in hardback, so this is the ticket. As with any PK stuff, best is mater of both taste and temperment but considering that the plot line is now a genre all itself, I think best is more than appropriate."

    #3The Simulacra

    The Simulacra

Set in a post-apocalyptic scenario -world war three was just a few years ago-, the entire world is dominated by Nicole Thibodeaux, a woman who rules with authoritarianism. With resemblances with the nazi movement, the book strongly revolves around the reality/illusion theme.

"I love philip k, dick. He's the best of the best when it comes to science fiction. Really imaginative plots and situations. the science is a metaphor for other stuff that matters to society. easy to read, and very intellectual."

"This is a good Philip K. Dick book with a lot of similar themes found in his other stories, including a bleak future, aliens, drugs, etc. It's a good read for a weekend, but I wouldn't rank it as one of his best. He gets lost in the conspiracies regarding Titan and I began losing interest about half way through."

"This is exactly what I expect for this search. This is a book by Philip K Dick, which I have not read before. This would be a great suggestion for someone looking for his books, and maybe not wanting to get the same well-known ones that they have likely already read. User reviews are also fairly positive, so it is likely a good read."

    #9A Maze of Death

    A Maze of Death
Delmak-O was inhabited by fourteen human beings and lots of cube-shaped beings. It was big and unexplored, like many planets in the universe, but this one had something rather distinctive: everyone was able to talk to the Gods, something that some times was good... and some times had terrible outcomes.

"I don't read if I do not have to unless it interests me. This book doesn't interest me although others have given the book good reviews for a fiction paperback."
