"A good immersive pirate book that you can get yourself into big time with good characters, story telling and some action in there too. The book is very edgy and it can be offensive at time. But it's a great read for most. "

"This book is probably best for a younger teen (at least that's what was true for my kids). But she liked it. It was a fun adventure, not withstanding the fact that the heroine is a girl (so important when you are raising a daughter). But let's be clear, this book is not about to win a literature award (that's why I say young teen). It's just good fun. It's not too complicated and the plot can be derivative (at times). But if you're looking for a pirate book for a young teen that just wants to dip their foot into a pirate plot, this might be okay. "

"This is a charming and delightful story of losing love but starting on a new, unexpected adventure. The main character meets a pirate, who was supposed to have died centuries ago, and develops strong feelings for him. Reading this story, I know that love knows no time or place and that, just because the main character was unlucky in love in a modern sense, she may find it with a 200 year old pirate. An enjoyable story."

"I believe this solution is inadequate. While it does provide information regarding the author, publish date, and summary; it only focuses on women. No where in the topic does it specify women. Furthermore, no where is teen or reading level mentioned. "

"This book looks a bit different from your average pirate book. This one is actually about capturing pirate ships and setting the slaves free. My son loves pirate books and while I don't completely agree with what they stand for, they are interesting none-the-less. I love that this option is not only in book form, but kindle form as well and we can take it anywhere with us for when he needs something good to read. Great reviews and a great price."
