What are the best Pixar Movies?

When you start naming great animated movies, Pixar's films will always be on top of that list. Through the years, Pixar has given audiences of all ages memorable movies to watch. Whether you grew up wonderstruck with the Toy Story films or got all teary-eyed with Finding Nemo. Pixar has an awesome lineup of full-length and short films that stick with many viewers. Although people often think that older movies are better, Pixar proves them wrong. Whether you're watching a classic Pixar film or a more recent one, you can say they are of the same caliber. An example of a recent Pixar movie that gained critical acclaim is Inside Out. The 2015 Pixar movie is fairly recent given that most of Pixar's classics were released in the '90s and early '00s. Inside Out won the Academy Award for Best Animated feature back in 2016. Despite being a film targeted towards children, the movie has psychological themes that viewers of any age will enjoy. The appeal of Pixar movies to the masses is that you will love it whether you're a working adult or an elementary kid. The Pixar movie sequels, in particular, resonate with older viewers because they grew up watching these movies. These sequels include Toy Story 3, Monsters University, and Finding Dory. The time between Toy Story 2 (1999) and Toy Story 3 (2010) is more than a decade. In those years, the initial viewers of the second film have already grown. Yet, the third movie won't come off as too childish to watch since it's a movie that brings nostalgia. If you want to be taken back to the best parts of your childhood, check out these best Pixar movies to watch! Pixar continues to make amazing movies to this day and you can look forward to the Pixar movies coming out in 2020.

DID YOU KNOW?

Thank goodness, Toy Story 2 was able to reach the theatres! Did you know that Toy Story 2 was almost entirely deleted? Perhaps, one of the scariest nightmares of movie producers is to accidentally delete an entire film they worked hard on for years. And Pixar almost had the same nightmare a year before the release of the Oscar award-winning animated movie Toy Story 2! The movie faced a major hurdle when a computer command executed by an anonymous person deleted 90% of the film. Luckily, the film's technical director had a copy with her that she had been working on from home.

Yet, Pixar once again proved its prowess and solidified its title of a game-changer in the animated film industry. Of course, who would forget the first Toy Story film they ever produced? Well, Toy Story was awarded the first First Feature-length Computer-animated Movie! And right after the release of the first installment, the making of animated movies has never been the same again. To be fair, Walt Disney Productions had been producing animated, child-friendly animated films. He was even dubbed as the 'King' of animated family-friendly entertainment. Yet, perhaps, Disney saw a brighter future ahead with Pixar so it opted to buy Pixar in 2006 for $7.4 billion! This Disney-Pixar crossover paved the way for the production of most successful animated movies like Coco, The Incredibles 2, Cars, Toy Story 3, and many more.

"As far as sequels go, Finding Dory is just OK. There are some familiar characters and some newer ones as well. The movie is sometimes cute and the cranky octopus is a nice addition. The biggest problem with the film is the obvious comparison to Finding Nemo; and, unfortunately, the two are in different leagues. Most Nemo fans will be disappointed."

I was able to watch toy story 2 when I was in college, I think it was never too late at all. Andy's toys journey was pretty exciting. This is a tearjerker I must warn you!"
