"Great English Catholic translation of the Bible, updated according to the directives of the Holy See. Pages are an easy to read cream color, and of a slightly heavier weight than usual. Although it is wise to use more than one translation for study purposes, this bible will be a great resource for both study and devotions."

"Pretty good book if you're into prayers and religion. This books has helped me getting better at Prayer which might sound weird to people who don't do such things. It also had a few bits of advice for things outside of prayer too which was nice to read up on. Overall I feel I've streamlined my prayers a bit more and am thankful for it."

"As a Christian, prayer means a lot to me. It's a sacred thing I do multiple times per day. However, despite the strength of my religious faith, I will admit that there have been times when I felt that there was no one listening; that my prayers weren't being answered. That is, until this book came in to my life. The author, Lee Ann Rubsam, explains how to hear God's word for yourself - not in a literal sense, but in a spiritual sense, helping to form a closer connection and bond with God. At only 25 pages, this is a good light read for any Christian struggling to find meaning in prayer."

"One of the very best children's book in our possession (and we have an extensive library). From age 7 months, my child was mesmerized with these pictures, alternating between favorite images every month or so. It has had a *huge* impact on his imagination and thoughts, and after having it for only a month, if he was crying, I could begin reciting the psalm and he would stop crying to listen--I'm sure, imagining the images in his mind as I spoke. We recite it when he is afraid, or even when something in the day or at church relates to the concepts in the psalm. It's wondrous to realize that my child has a passage of scripture memorized by age one, simply from hearing it in conjunction with beautiful pictures over and over again. I truly wish that R.J. Watson and other children's illustrators would create more books like this, because it's such a powerful way of introducing scripture to children, not to mention adults."

"It is pretty spot on with delivering a message of the power and authority over the enemy and has scripture to edify the reader. I do find a lot of repetition of the same message in every chapter. Practicing your faith is only as good as your belief in the power behind the Word of God. Over all, A book written quite a while back that still delivers vital information no matter when it's read. So many Christians have no idea that they even have authority much less what that authority is."
