"This is a historical novel focused on the rise of Abraham Lincoln from obscurity to famous US president. This focuses more on the political operations behind Lincoln's rise than on his life itself, but nevertheless it is a comprehensive look into the life of one of America's most well recognized presidents. I would recommend this to any history and political buff who is interested in learning more about Lincoln's rise"

I think it is one of the best biographies about a president due to the times and the man he was. It took a little while to read the entire book but it was well worth it."

"After falling in love with the show Band Of Brothers, I decided to learn more about Eishenhower and his work. I am glad I did because this book changed my perception of how the war was fought from a macroscopic scale. The strategy that went into every single engagement alone makes this book a fascinating read."
