    Golden Retriever

Golden Retrievers are highly trainable dogs who love to play and are popular family and disability assistance dogs. They can also be trained to be a hunting, detection, and search and rescue dogs. They have a friendly, gentle temperament, are rarely choosy eaters, and require at least two hours of exercise per day.

"Golden Retrievers great dogs. This dog is loyal and loving. Looking for a companion to have around for a long time, this would be your go to dog."

The Newfoundlands are large working dogs that can be black, brown, or white-and-black (called Landseer). Originally, they were trained as working dogs for fishermen and are known for their calm disposition, giant size, intelligence, loyalty, and strength.

"Well, I guess this just depends on what kind of dog you are looking for. I love all dogs and this is a darn cute one. But I think those dogs get huge. So I don't know if it would work for everyone."

Vizslas are sporting dogs and loyal companions, in addition to being the smallest of the all-round pointer-retriever breeds. They are highly trainable and are natural hunters with a great nose. Their personality is lively, gentle-mannered, affectionate, sensitive, and very protective.

"Vizslas are great dogs for active people. They are good hunting dogs as they point and retrieve. They are loyal and obedient. It depends on what you want in your dog, though. Vizsla is a very high energy breed and if you are a city dweller living in an apartment, this may not be the best breed for you. I personally prefer smaller more calm dogs. "

The Puggle is a crossbreed or mixed breed dog that comes from breeding a Pug and a Beagle. They are playful, lively dogs that are great for families with kids. They are willful, though, so you have to train them well or they won't be too eager to please. All around, they are sweet tempered and have a fun-loving personality.

    Pit Bull

The Pit Bull is a friendly family dog that was originally used to "bait" bulls but then evolved to be a farm dog, and later a nanny dog. Contrary to popular belief, pit bulls are highly trainable dogs who are very gentle with children.

"It is obvious that pitbulls are very popular, however, I beg to differ. These dogs would make a great defense mechanism if you are getting attacked. Pitbulls can be vicious and very dangerous. Maybe it is all in how you raise them, but I would not trust those dogs around my children. There have been many deaths caused by these dogs whereas they have mangled little children. In addition, I read that pits have a stronger jaw grip as well. I would not recommend these dogs as family dogs or children dogs."
