"Puzzle like games like road not taken that are also rougelike are fun for me. I like how I can play this game and can look forward to surprises and other elements like children and animals. I don't really like the graphics though since they look cheap."

"Perfect for when I don't have time to devote to a long, drawn-out game, but need just a quick fix to free myself from this dark and dreary room that I call my room. Sometimes I need a short game to cast off the chains that seem to link me to drudge-work. I love this game. Freedom!"

"I love playing roguelike games of all sorts and Hoplite was another game I enjoyed. It has a tactical grid that you move around and forces you to consider your moves carefully. Each level is different and there's a lot of replay value."

"Wikipedia defines a roguelike game as "Roguelike is a term used to describe a subgenre of role-playing video games that are characterized by a dungeon crawl through procedurally generated game levels, turn-based gameplay, tile-based graphics, and permanent death of the player-character." This game, you must "travel the world, run procedurally generated dungeons finding artifacts, capturing monsters and recruiting crew..." The screenshots do show that puzzles are a key part of the game, so I feel that this is a good solution to the problem."

"I feel that this game is very much like a mix of Mario Bros and Indiana Jones. The authors need to come up with a novel idea-- not rehashing the same thing again and again!"

"Monolith is a super tight game that takes similar aspects to other games I play. The best part of this game is the ability to teleport! The difficulty curve of each floor is reasonable, as you can clearly tell the game is getting harder, It also offers a WIDDDDDE variety of different weapons."
