"While this solution is a fairly good one. The book something wicked this way comes is considered a 'classic' by many but the overall tone of the book has an unrealistic quality to it. People are familiar with carnivals and tend to glamorize them when in reality it is a group of individuals trying to earn an income and some of them may not be the highest class of people (what one may label as 'trashy'). The better solution, in my opinion, would be Fahrenheit 451 which is a story that takes us to a reality that we are not familiar with. "

"I love dystopian stories because they often tap into some of the most difficult problems and concepts facing society right now. Fahrenheit 451 is no different because it deals with governing bodies destroying information that does not agree with their cause. I find this to be a style of propaganda and it reminds me of real life stories I have heard that are similar."

"Not a great book. I expected so much more than this from a writer the caliber of Ray Bradbury! I managed to finish it after 3 attempts but this is proof that not every writer can write any genre. Ray should have stuck to sci-fi."

"A no-brainer for Ray Bradbury fans. A sounds of Thunder and Other stories is a compilation of 32 stories by one of my favorite authors. The shear diversity and imagination that these stories traverse is a marvel in itself. Not to mention the masterful storytelling by an all-time great author."
