This is one of my favorite cooking apps. It actually finds recipes for me. It can also organize them for me in one easy to use app. I can create a grocery list and check the ingredients off as I go. Time based directions instantly become cooking timers and I can also add my own adjustments. There are a thousand options. More

Paprika Recipe Manager appears to be a good recipe manager app. Unfortunately, the app hasn't been upgraded since 2016. This is a security issue and I do not recommend installing it. More

I hate the routine of going through my pantry trying to determine which items I need to buy to make my meals for each week. This app saves me a lot of time because it allows me to select the meals I want to prepare, and organizes the items I will need to buy, I can then check my pantry all at once to see what I am missing and then I can have the app sync to my Android shopping list before I head to the grocery store. What a great time-saving app! More

This USED to be a good app, but there doesn't seem to be any tech support now (2019) to upgrade the app (web version) to new browser security features etc. I have tried to reconfigure my browser settings numerous times to allow import of photos from my desktop but it no longer functions easily. It's now not clear if recipes are saved or not from a web page, and many pictures can now not be simply dragged into the PepperPlate browser applet. More

I started using Pepperplate based on articles reviewing it as one of the best places to organize all of your recipes electronically. After a short time I became frustrated that recipes from websites like Allrecipes and Food Network wouldn't import as advertised. I also find the organization of the recipes frustrating and the manual recipe adding to be difficult sometimes (saving doesn't change the screen so you end up saving multiple copies) etc. I wouldn't recommend this app and am bummed that I invested a bunch of time in adding both online and paper recipes to it. This is the best recipe organizer app that I've ever seen! You can add recipes that you find anywhere on the internet, browse their library of recipes, create an eating schedule with all of these recipes, and even share and follow your friends' cooking with social media. It's got everything a recipe organizer app needs, and looks beautiful with many pictures and a lovely interface. Definitely worth downloading and using even for just regular cooking. More
