"I know David Deangelo recommended this book. But what is more important to my friends, my family, and myself is that I recommend this book. It is an old book. But it is still relevant and useful."

"If you are interested in David Deangelo books this is definitely one to read. While it is not a well known book despite being written in 1993 it is a well written one. Fascinating theories on sexual evolution and why men and women act the way that they do."

"This is that rare kind of book that I find myself referencing in conversations almost weekly. At times it can get a bit heady and hard to get through without doubling back to read a section again after you just finished reading it, because somehow you just know you missed the point the first time... but all in all, there's a lot of amazing stuff in here. Highly recommended."

"I wanted something engaging and enlightening, I ordered Exuberance: The Passion for Life. This book makes you look at things just a bit differently. It will help you start looking for joy and ways to feel happy. I bought my sisters a copy as well because they tend to have negative attitudes about life, hopefully they will read it and see the light like I did"

"I now understand why this has such highly-rated reviews everywhere. This book was recommended by David DeAngelo, the master of dating and relationships, and I think this grasping the concepts of this book would strengthen any relationship. Although this book was located in the "Self-Help" section of the library, this book is anything but. The book emphasizes philosophical, psychological, and stoic principles but simplifies it into laymen's terms. I know what you're thinking, it is a book about general things, but what makes this one different is the author's commentary and point of view that kind of makes you seem like you're nodding your head while your fingers rummage through each page. "I read this book after my purchased it for me and was not a huge fan. The story line was okay but never really got me excited read more. I felt that what I read really never related to me. I guess the concept of the book was good. But, I would rather hear someone talk about this subject than to read about it. "
