"My girlfriend is a fan of remastered and remade games that remind her of her childhood. Together, we searched Steam and stumbled upon DuckTales: Remastered. It was a title that she loved as a kid and brought back a ton of nostalgia. Unfortunately for her, as we played the game we were extremely disappointed. The game didn't live up to the hype and failed to impress us. I would recommend finding a different game in this category. "

"I just love classic games, because they remind me of my youth and a simpler time in my life. The best place to find classic games in my experience is to check on Steam since they have ported several old games to that platform, so I was hoping to find a game that was a remake or remastered. I found Full Throttle, an old action adventure game with a bit of humor. The best part in my opinion is the ability to switch from Remaster to Classic mode by pressing F1. Great game! "

"I was looking for games that have recently been redone to look more aesthetically pleasing, and this is a decent one. The enhancements are pretty impressive, but the game wasn't all that old to begin with. Still, it suits what I was looking for."

"Back in 1996 when I got my original Sony PlayStation, one of my favorite games to play on it was Resident Evil. I remember how immersed I was in the game's atmosphere. It was truly a first of its kind. I remember being spooked every time I would open a door and that transition frame with the door opening, would send chills down my spine because I didn't know what the next screen would bring. Those were great times and the whole game story while taking in the gaming experience in third person was so much fun. After Resident Evil 2, I took a long break from the series until Biohazard, since they didn't really live up to my expectations. But recently picked up the Resident Evil HD Remaster, and this is just pure bliss. It's the original gaming experience with modern up to date HD graphics. This is probably one of the best remasters in my opinion. The remaster lives up to it's name and the attention to detail is just mesmerizing. I felt like a kid in a candy store upon running through this game again. I was so overwhelmed with nostalgia. I'm running this on my PC, which has a pretty beefy graphics card, so the models look excellent. So be sure to have a modern graphics card and a higher end PC to get the best experience. I'm going to go back and experience the terror again. The detailed graphics are even better now, and the atmosphere is even spookier than before because it's so detailed. There's widescreen support now, so enjoy it in 16:9 format for that cinematic experience. The sound, I haven't even gotten to the sound! The sound is amazing. They even remastered the audio and the it supports 5.1 channel output. With all that said, I'm really going to go back and play it again this time as Chris as I played through as Jill last time."

"Super cool to see classics remade for your handheld device. I love that you can switch between the original and HD graphics with a simple two-finger swipe. I play with the original graphics. There's something nostalgic about it. I travel a lot for work (boring adult life) and having this handheld classic makes those plane rides much more enjoyable."
