"I'm a journalist and sometimes work from home. Every now and then, I forget to send files to my work email or upload it to the cloud. I downloaded Splashtop Personal to access my laptop remotely, and it works great. I love that it's free. I used a trial version of another app before that later wanted $10. Why pay when free works just as well?"

"Remote Desktop is the perfect app if you find yourself needing to access a file on your computer but aren't near it. I have used this app many times to get some work done while waiting in a doctor's office, the dmv and even in long grocery lines. The set up instructions are easy to follow and it's easy to get started. I have had a couple problems connecting, but it may have been the wifi where I was."

"With this app, i've been able to connect to the Mac systems i currently have on my network. It's quite useful. It can slow down from time to time which can make it quite frustrating but it does work overall. With the app, I am able to deploy software and updates to the other machines and lock those systems when I am done. They are quick to resolve certain bugs in the software so while there may be issues, they are resolved in an appropriate time frame. "
