"If every morning you convince yourself that today is going to be a very productive day, but then fall into the trap of checking your emails, then running through the top news stories of the day, and then checking game scores, this is the app for you. Whenever you finally make the decision to install and use this app you will understand just how often you want to be distracted. Every few minutes you will open a new tab without putting much thought into it and then you will realize that you can't visit the site you were already envisioning going to because it's blocked by SelfControl. The awareness of this pull of concentration will help train your mind to stay in the moment and focus on your current task, hopefully so over time you can focus to the best of your ability without needing this app."

"I was wondering where all my time was going and how I might be more efficient. I installed this app and tracked my time over the last month. I spent some time reviewing all the data on my activities and found that I am pretty efficient with my time. I do spend a lot of time going in and out of emails, so I'm going to try to streamline that time as my first priority and study the logs weekly. This is they only tool I know that can help me track my activity in the background."

"I can clearly vouch for "Focus" when it comes to doing any kind of work, be it school or professional when you absolutely need to focus on the task at hand. Focus basically is a lock that prevents you from going to certain blocked websites while you are in work mode, preventing you from letting your mind wander to another place."

"I feel the Daniel Goleman is an excellent psychologist and I have read a few of his books and all have been very interesting. Now, to get to the point of resources for concentration, I think this book is more of a look into different types of focus and it may help some people. I can not say that this is the best resource for concentration though."

It was the best choice I've could have made for myself. It inspired me to start my dream of opening up a custom cake and cupcake shop! "I mean, as just keeping track of time it appears to do so, but I do not seem to understand the reason behind getting this app. It is under tested and do not seem to offer as much as just what is already built into your phone for clock settings and alarms. Also many mainstream banks offer apps that have built in budgeting. "
