"I was looking for books to read about sailing in the open ocean. After entering one of my favorite titles, I was given a list of books to choose from. I don't know how comprehensive the list was, but there were some titles on the list I was not familiar with. This website is a good way to find unknown or little know books and authors."

"I'm not a huge fan of this site. Publishers send the books they want to get featured and if they are featured then they get paid. I feel that I'm better off reading true reader reviews on sites like Amazon and Barnes and Noble than using this site to find book and reading recommendations."

"Goodreads is by far the best online social network for readers. I have looked for books by title, by genre, by keywords, and by authors. So far, I have found every book I have looked for--it is a very complete site. And the best aspect of this site? Its ability to identify books that I like! Goodreads has a very successful algorithm that combines keywords and genres and has helped me discover books that are similar to my all-time favorites. It works like a charm."

"While the site is promising, I found the selection to be rather limited overall. I needed to search on well over a dozen terms before I found anything of relevance, and even then the results were sparse. I would check elsewhere."

"I love that they offer free ebooks in exchange just for just reading data. With the books being free of charge by sponsors that will definitely appeal to readers. I also think that people will naturally be attracted to early access. Being able to read something for others is greatly attractive for people who spend their free time reading."

"This is a horrible suggestion. No, not the book itself, but the suggestion of any book in no way constitutes a proper answer to the request. A resource for discovering new books cannot be a book unless it's a book about other books. This book is not about other books. This book is, as it is so titled, about democracy in America."
