I tried using the recipes, but with now guidance I failed quickly. Perhaps, before they hit you with 1,000 recipes, there should be a quick questionaire to decide what are your goals, your expertise in cooking, and how much help you need. Without this, I wouldn't likely use this service again."

"Recently, I decided I wanted to start getting healthy, but I didn't want just another calorie counter. I wanted to make sure I was eating the right foods, not just the right amounts. Fooducate was everything I was looking for and more. Not only does it do the same things most other trackers do, like count calories and log exercise, but it actively gives recommendations on the types of foods my diet is missing but should be eating. It even customizes those recommendations if I'm on any kind of specific diet, like vegetarian or vegan. While I haven't used it, it was perfect for my friend who is doing the paleo diet. Definitely would recommend this app to anyone who is interested in losing weight the right way."

The pics are great, the mix of topics is good, and best of all, reading it puts me in a good mood. The only thing I sometimes find a bit of a drag is that most of her recipes are pretty classic; good, but not too original. I'd love it if she risked going a bit more off the beaten path once in a while. Other than that, a steady source of inspiration."

I guess it may work for some people, but I found the dietary suggestions to be too elaborate and time consuming to be practical in my life. I think I'm content to stick with my old fashioned vegetarian diet which has been good to me for over 20 years."
