"Indiegogo is a collaborative way to fund ideas. If you check their website you will find tons of interesting projects and ideas you might directly fund so you could receive the final product right after it will be completed and produced. It's very interesting and worth at least a little of your time."

"I was in a real desperate situation and needed to raise money to pay for my back surgery. Unfortunately, my insurance would not pay for the procedure and I do not come from a wealthy household. A good friend recommended me to try crowdsourcing the funds, so I made a profile and created a campaign on GoFundMe. Within two weeks thanks to GoFundMe I was able to raise enough money to pay for my surgery and get my life back on track. I am really thankful that a resource like this exists."

"Crowd funded non-profit fund raising, it is a great idea, there is something that sets this site apart from the rest and its the transparency. There are several widgets/apps that allow you to follow your NP fund raising statistics. There is a great resource center full of webinars and free ebooks and pamphlets/guides/checklists. You can tie your company into this site for matching. The site isn't free, so it may be a little harder for smaller NPs but the overall outcome is amazing."
