"Honestly this book really should not be necessary, Apple should document things better than they do. Since they do not it is good that Matt Neuburg is taking the time to really dig in deep on IOS 10 to answer all the hard questions about really getting work done programming for IOS 10."

"I highly recommend this book if you have some programming knowledge but you're new to Swift. I have some experience with development in a Windows environment and wanted to start making iOS apps. It's a good introduction to the language and environment, but it won't teach you how to make apps from scratch if you're a total newbie, and even if you're not I'd still recommend some prior reading on Swift."

"This iOS programming guide is an excellent resource, but with the caveat that it's preferred that you already know something about the concepts and are not just a rank beginner. While it is very thorough in what it covers, at times I felt a beginner might be lost as the book seems to figure the reader already knows how to do certain things and doesn't go into explanation. If you can get beyond that, it's definitely worth it."

"I found this article a little dated about a big subject. It's also a little short. I'm not saying it's worthless by any means, just that there's a lot of competition in this space. Deciding how to spend you time gathering this material is always a challenge. Worse, sometimes these articles are more about getting the blogger known that giving you the very best information."
