    #1Erlang User's Guide

    Erlang User's Guide
This is a compressive guide for starting to program in Erlang.  Also, parts that are greatly simplified are indicated with *manual*. This means that a lot more information on the subject is to be found in the Erlang book or in Erlang Reference Manual.

"I've wanted to learn Erlang for so long, and was really glad I found this User's Guide. I find a lot of programming manuals tend to be really condescending, or assume that you know a lot more than you do. I find that this takes a nice middle ground, and explains everything you need to know without making you feel dumb for not knowing it. Erlang has been so interesting so far, and I am really learning a lot from this User's Guide!"

"If you're trying to start off in the programming game, you know it's really tough and confusing. Instead of searching around on a bunch of different forums looking for help and advice which can be questionable sometimes you can go right to this app. There are a lot of knowledgable people to help you out, and as you grow you can help answer other's questions too. What a great resource and time saver."

"This book is comprehensive, covering all the details. But I found there was a lot of editing mistakes, which was confusing, especially for this type of thing. And there's nothing about the mistakes in the book, I had to go to the website to find out about that. It’s a bit pricey too, and with all the mistakes, I don't think it's worth it."
