"This is a very good book for learning to do circular knitting but not very good if you have no idea how to knit at all. It is too focused to learn the basics of knitting in general. You would probably need a previous book if you don't know how to knit and then read this one for when you want to knit circular things. "

"I am housewife and 8 months pregnant, so I am stuck in the house all day trying to keep myself busy without going crazy trying to manage all of families needs. I recently discovered my new hero, Kristen Mangus!! She is a creative genius who has taught me so much about how knitting can be both an exercise in creativity and a therapeutic practice for alleviating stress and anxiety. I am now knitting every morning using GoodKnitKisses youtube Channel. It has become new source of meditation, that I use to help me create socks and scarfs for family and friends. Kristen Mangus has such great ideas for gifts that can be given year round!"

"You would expect in the age of youtube that people offering online classes would understand that charging to watch a video is something most of us only accept if we get to laugh or cry during it. The 'free previews' are little more than youtube videos without the actual content and honestly you'd have better luck learning to knit from youtube than by using this site."

"I have never knitted in my life. I wanted to learn how to knit, and how to find other people who knit but that are not 100 years old. I stumbled across Stitch'n Bitch while browsing for how-to books on knitting. This is exactly the book that I needed! I really enjoyed how Debbie Stoller writes, and she shows that you do not have to be a 100 year-old grandmother to be a knitter. Thanks to this book, I now can do some basic knitting, I have found a group of women just like me in my town, and I understand the language of knitting. I couldn't have asked for a better book on knitting!"
