"Well, this certainly does offer up a solution to the problem of "resources for low-cost traveling." However, for safety reasons, I don't think it's something I would personally partake in. I did read their "Safety Basics" page and I found it to be a little lacking. Although they do state that they take the users' safety seriously, they also pretty much say that the safety of the user is the user's responsibility."

"I use Kayak since many years to check the price of flights when I need to book one, and I'm happy they finally released also an app for Android. It works great, and it allows me to check the price of a flight in just few clicks, I recommend it to everyone!"

Did you know that based on research, spending your money on travel actually makes you happier than spending your money on material goods? Just like what Saint Augustine once said, "The world is a book, and those who do not travel read only one page". This suggests that if one did not experience traveling, he or she may end up not being able to discover and learn the beauty of other places and culture. Travel experience is one of the most memorable life experiences one can have, and this suggests that it has a great impact on a person's life because of the memories and learnings it brings. Thus, more and more people are investing money on travels. Not only does it make them happy, but it also gives the feeling of satisfaction since it gives them an opportunity to unwind and escape from an 8-hour office job. Have you ever wanted to go anywhere but your wallet can't afford to? Several ways are being considered in order to save money when traveling. Some people are searching for vacation dealscheap flights, cheap accommodations, and good itineraries because at the end of the day, it is always about the place, the memories and the experience.

Exchanging Your Money Abroad: 10 Simple Tips
With bank fees rising every year and exchange rates seemingly in constant flux, what’s the best way to change your money? This article by Fodor's Travel gives you ten simple rules for exchanging your money abroad.

    Rebecca Roberts
    Written on September 22, 2017
"This site gives you many pointers on how to use and exchange cash and credit cards overseas so that you spend the least on fees, which can be exorbitant. It also gives you the skinny on exchange rates and how to avoid getting taken. The overall site is the well-known (from travel books) Fodor's. It has extensive information for all your travel needs but the outside advertising on the site was annoying and intrusive in that it exhibited some seizure-inducing flashing and made the page jump around as I tried to scroll. I have to take off points for that."

"I placed and ad for a house sitter to look after our home and our two Maltese dogs, one of which isn't in the best of health. Within 24 hours I received two requests and one lady we have agreed up. After a long conversation by phone, we know that she is ideally suited to our family needs and very excited that we have peace of mind when away. I was a little reluctant to use an on line service but being able to look at references and speak to the proposed house sitter was wonderful. What a user friendly site. "

"This website is helpful for some people, but not necessarily what I was looking for. If you have a group of people, this might be a good solution, but there is a sort of requirement as to how many people you have to have before they start really giving you any sort of deal. So for myself it was not that useful, as I was looking for more of a smaller family vacation, but if you maybe get two families together it could be good."

    Google Flights

Google Flights is an airfare search engine that offers a variety of features aiming to help users find affordable tickets. It also allows its users to look for flights with flexible dates.

    Julie Wells
    Written on March 5, 2017
"The Google Flights website is a good concept and a useful tool, but it doesn't cover all the airlines out there. For instance, it doesn't list prices for Southwest or JetBlue. I usually only fly through Southwest, and find it to be a more affordable and better value flight, especially if I'm taking along checked luggage. One thing I find very useful is that it shows you flight prices day-by-day, and from month-to-month, up to a certain point. You can see flight price trends, and can see what days are cheaper than others. Just keep in mind, there are other travel tools out there to help you get a better deal. This should just be one of them."
