"I really like using ebay as a buyer, and less frequently as a seller. I have never not found anything I was looking for, and there are two easy ways to buy - via auction or using the "buy it now" feature. As a seller, the best things about ebay are the low fees and the ease of using paypal as a way to collect payments. If you are looking for a quick and easy way to sell your goods, I strongly recommend checking ebay out! "

"I have experience with these. These are not live auctions. They are just advertisers. And the problem is people are not getting what they think they are getting. If they simply were told okay this is really a auction and see the bargain, but it is not a bargain. You end up paying mark up way high. Just do the live auctions."

"I'd say the key here is shipping and policies for returns. Good contact between seller and buyer is important. I don't want to buy/sell something and then find out the other party has vanished along with what I wanted."

"I never knew you could bid on a huge piece of 20,000 dollars medical equipment. Or a piece of real estate. I've used other auction sites before but they were for things that capped out at the value of something like a flat screen TV or the newest iPhone. Municibid seems like the place to go if you want to lay down some real money. At the same time, I found an auction for some old school projectors like my high school used to use for a dollar. All around pretty interesting!"

"I have a garage full of stuff that I don't want, some of which I know is worth a good bit of money. I've had bad experiences with ebay, so I tried this site. Its very user-friendly and I sold one thing so far for more than I thought I'd get. I will continue using it."

"This is an app that really focuses on our attitude of sharing and recycling. The products here are for trading, sharing or are even free. Have you ever had items that are still good, but their useful purpose is no longer needed by you? Don't just throw them out, let Listia help you, help your neighbors by matching up products that they could use. You might even find that special something you've been looking for as well. Compatible on both Android and IOS systems. "

"A good first stop if you're looking for used goods at a discount. Condition can be a bit problematic, if you're looking for things like books, as little to no details are provided. This is the site for the Goodwill store in Orange County and serves as their personal auction site. "

"I tried this app and it didn't really give me resources. It offered an app to let you buy or sell on the eBid platform and that wasn't exactly what I was looking for. I wanted a website with information and a listing of different places to buy/sell on."
