"I had never heard of ePub files before, and I was completely lost as to how to open them. Then I came across a download for Calibre. I was slightly concerned about downloading the unknown program to my computer, but I quickly got over that. Calibre makes things easy when converting files, and I was able to open my ePub file with no difficulty."

"Google Play Books is the only thing I use for eBooks. Like most Google products, it just makes it so easy. I can find any book I want, and I can download and read anything I buy without having to jump through hoops."

"Once they have this up and running fully, it should be an excellent program. As it stands now, it is still user friendly and easy to use. It is missing some features that could make this my go to but, hopefully, they will add those in time. This is one I will be keeping my eye on."

"Epubreader is a plugin for chrome that lets you read epub files right from your browser. This is a very handy option because you can open the epubs directly. The only issue is that you always need to have a browser open to read epubs, since it's a plugin and not a standalone software."

"There are a number of places online that claim to be able to open an ePub file, but iBooks is by far the best option out there based on my experiences. I just had to install a simple program (iBooks) and I was able to load up all the ePub books I could think of. No more clunky software, iBooks is the best option for me and I will be recommending this to anyone I can find. "

"It's amazing the sort of things an extension can do these days. Readium works as intended; I installed it to read a Stephen King .epub, and it worked flawlessly. There is a little bit of lag, but that's likely because it's written in js. That's also a plus, though, as now I can use a single piece of software across my Windows, Mac and two linux systems."
