"This is a great solution to a recurring problem -- managing a collection of media items. The problem is so recurrent it's often used as a beginning task in many intro level database courses in computer science programs. This app does a great job of tackling the problem in a meaningful and dynamic way, and I could even see it being used by a small town public library as their actual check-in / check-out software."

"Ever get tired of wondering what you have on your shelves regarding CD's and DVD's as well as books? This is a great application to simply organize everything. I was able to just scan the barcode on each one of my dvd's, cd's and books and it was organized into a library on MAC. At the touch of the button I could see everything I had rather than searching for it. It takes some time to set up in the beginning but once you do it you'll be happy you did. "

"I could have saved myself Days of work if I'd known this existed sooner. I've been working on a big project on four different applications over three different computers and when it came time to pull it all together it took hours of downloading, uploading, emailing things to myself and hoping I got it all. Somewhere near the end of that whole mess I was checking my google docs and saw the drive feature. When I checked it out I almost groaned out loud. Here was exactly what I needed to keep everything accessible all the time. For some reason the onecloud on my computers doesn't share everything but this was so simple and perfect. I'm never doing another big project without the google drive."

"I think that Phototheca is a great idea! One of the largest issues I have with multimedia storage is having a lot of duplicates. It constantly takes up more storage for my cloud and on my hard disc. It is a great idea to have an all in one feature that will be able to also touch up the photos. It does support video formats as well so it does take care of one of the major uses for organization."

"EMDB (Eric's movie database) is the best way to keep a list in color and cover for me. I paid the 10$ donation to have it call JMDB after my first name, Joe. I have so many shows and movies I can't remember them all. It even has a way to to keep track of who I lent my movies to, so I can remember to get them back. With the latest update I can store even more now. This is a great solution to have a list of everything you have in a quick moment. Also the data base regularly receives updates, I like it."

It's cool because you can scan barcodes to add a bunch of movies at one time, but there just aren't that many useful features outside of this. I would say based on my use that this is definitely not worth a purchase."
