"To me, "50 Podcasts you need to hear," is a limited but useful solution to a common issue with Itune podcasts. The Itunes, directory is filled with more podcasts than any other site. This site resolves the issue of finding good podcasts. It provides a well curated and updated list of the top 50 best podcasts available. I like how it covers a large range of topics and it gives you a healthy summary of each podcast. This is something I would use to help narrow my focus in my search for podcasts relevant to my interests. This is NOT an all in one fix to Podcast related problems. But it is a great list of Podcasts I might be interested in hearing."

"Podcasts are way better than listening to whatever is available on the radio. I wanted to find a site that listed all of the podcasts available and this page didn't have that. It was just a page listing what they thought were the best podcasts of 2016. I tend to not care about what other people think is the most popular so it's not a list for me. While it was nice to see what were considered the best of 2016, I much rather have seen a comprehensive list of all the available podcasts."

"Poodbay.fm was not the best solution for me, as someone who is looking to find podcasts that are really enjoyable. The website had some problems that made it difficult for me to access some areas I was otherwise interested in. Also, I didn't really find anything I didn't already know about. A common theme I noticed in podcast sites is that many offer very similar lists of highly recommended casts, and this site didn't seem to be an exception."

"The Podcast Chart site did not fully rectify some of my issues with finding the best podcasts for me to spend my time listening to. It had too many things I saw on other sites. Many top ten lists had at least half the exact same content I saw on the last two or three sites that I looked it. Perhaps these are really just the most acclaimed podcasts, but, as it stands, this site does not really differentiate itself from others all too well."

"This PC Magazine list did an OK job helping me solve my issues with finding the best podcasts, but I don't know if it is totally aligned with my tastes and preferences. There were some unique choices, but again, I did not necessarily find them to be of great personal interest and was not compelled to listen to most for more than one or two episodes. I guess it is a matter of what you personally like."

"I thought the article was very interesting. I personally never listen to podcasts because I just thought it was a bunch of people ranting on about topics I don't really care about. After reading this article it actually seems like there may be some interesting podcasts out there that I would actually enjoy. Maybe I'll start tuning in now from time to time."

"I've been hearing about Castro for a while now, so when it dropped to its lowest price at $2, I thought that I should check it out. Well, I wasted that two bucks (it's even more now). It seems to be an absolutely under powered podcast client. With so many apps like this out there, you will have no trouble finding a better choice than this."

"This list from Stuff did a decent job helping me work through my conundrum of being overwhelmed by all the podcast offerings available and wanting to find the best material, but it was not perfect for me. There was not enough raw, amateur material on the site. It felt like many podcasts had very similar tones and opinions to one another."

This can be difficult and time consuming, and Mocast really takes care of all of it for me. It's a handy little app I'd recommend."
