"Most French tutorials are really, really unassuming and really easy to get ahead of. Most people who run through them end up getting bored with the later bits of tutorials, as they outpace the language ability. However, French Together's been great for me. After I keyed in at an intermediate level, it stuck with me and constantly gave me new challenges at a pretty engaging pace."

"Alexa was able to make French click in my brain better than any teacher did in high school. I've been wanting to learn this beautiful and complex language for years, and she made that dream a reality. I learned more in one session than I did in two years of school. It's great that I can replay videos as needed and email her anytime I have a question. Alexa loves what she does and she makes it fun for us as well. I highly recommend "Learn French with Alexa" to anyone looking to travel, broaden their horizons, or speak the language for business deals. Why waste money paying a translator who may confuse things, when Alexa's lessons last forever? Thank you Alexa and you were right about Crepes. Now I just need to have one in France! :-D -Mona"

"I studied French back in high school, but I've lost most of it out of not practicing. I love French cinema and I watch it often without subs, so my listening is not a problem, but I never ever get to practice speaking. That's why I love french4you. They have amazing native speakers you can talk to onSkype, on your schedule, and on any topic you chose. Actually one of their teachers, Caroline, has become a good friend of mine, and I feel my Frency is coming back strong with every call. Love it!"

"FluentU is very helpful at honing your French listening skills. However, a conversation is a two way street - listening and speaking. FluentU only helps with one half of the conversation. While FluentU will not help you practice French conversation, it would be a helpful in addition to another resource."

"As a beginner in any foreign language I found this site easy to use and fun. On a quick visit there is no way to assess how much I would actually learn but it does seem very possible that extended practice on this site would improve ones ability to understand and perhaps speak rudimentary phrases in another language. It would certainly be a fun way to try!"

"Fluenz is unique among the language learning programs that I have seen before. They take the point of view of someone learning in their own mother tongue. In my case, they relate the grammar and syntax of French conversation to English so that I can understand it as someone who is fluent in that language. The other great thing about Fluenz, is that I can install it on all of my different devices allowing me to jump back and forth between different platforms without losing a step. I love how easy it is to use."

"This looks like a decent resource for learning French conversation, but it is a bit pricey. I'm not sure it would really help me *practice* my French conversational skills though. It seems to be instruction, which would have some value, but is not really focused on practice, from what I can see."

"French is one of the harder languages I've tried to learn. I did fine with German and Spanish, but French always gave me trouble. This really helps because it teaches you like you were just talking to someone naturally instead of memorizing words and rules. It's really helped me learn some basic useful French for traveling in a short time."

"My French classes are a distant memory, and I find I don't always have the discipline to keep up the study and use of French by myself. That's why I was especially glad to find and download some resources for practicing French conversation on isoHunt.to. I found some apps and software that make it easy to practice my French, and that give me the incentive I need to keep up with the study. "

"What a wonderful book. This is not a book you would normally use to learn the French language. This is more like a hands on, learn as you go. I would consider this a "living" book. As you encounter situations you learn the language needed to respond. If you never encounter such situation, why do you need to learn the response from a book or anywhere else???"
